 SWI Thermister with Radiation Shield
The SWI Thermister is designed specifically for use with the nomad 2 wind resource assessments data logger. It consists of a 10K type thermister encased in a aluminum shaft, and comes pre wired with 3.5 meter of sensor cable with radiation shield to minimize errors from gains due to direct sunlight. The sensor is ideal for collecting temperature data for energy density calculations and monitoring air temperature at remote sites.
The six plated shield can be mounted to a 1 to 2 inch diameter pipe with a U-bolt clamp or a larger diameter mast with hose clamp.
